Court Overturns Delay Conviction

The Texas Third Court of Appeals recently ruled in Tom Delay v. Texas. The court concluded the evidence presented at trial was legally insufficient to support a conviction of money laundering. Brian Wice, Delay's appellate counsel, doesn't believe the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals will take the case if the Travis County district attorney's office decides to appeal.
